Microsoft Corporation releases updates for their Windows operating systems on a regular basis. These updates are seperated into three different catagories.

1. Critical Updates
These are updates that are meant to fix security holes and other major flaws in the operating system. I recommend that these updates be kept up to date.

2. Windows Updates
these are usually updates or enhancements to different programs that run in Windows. These updates are not necessarily required. I recomend that you read the description provided with the update and make a decision as to if you think you need it.

3, Driver Updates
These are updates that fix problems with hardware on your computer or they may simply be enhancements to the hardware. Again, these are not required but available for your review.
